Horizon Technologies sought the expertise of Morning Star Interactive to stream a live event over the Internet during the 1998 Bassmaster's Classic. The video source was supplied by TNN. The project provided unique challenges because of its location in Greenville, North Carolina. Pre-arrangements for ISDN telephone service had to be made.

Morning Star Interactive configured two Dell 410s with Osprey video boards and Ultra SCSI hard drives. The machines were tested using Real Video software, streamed directly to Real Networks. The computers were then shipped to the Greenville Convention Center while a crew from Morning Star Interactive arrived. The live event streamed flawlessly with one machine providing a 28.8K stream and a 56K for higher speed connections.
