National Loan Exchange

Challenge:

Create a method for participants of a live forum to anonymously provide information on specific issues concerning the industry via laptop computers. Immediately compile the responses and provide graphed data that the speaker could incorporate into the presentation.

The National Loan Exchange is an innovative leader in the recovery and dispersement of uncollected debt.

Solution:

Morning Star Interactive collected information concerning the project and determined the most effective method was to create an intranet. Using a Windows NT server running a SQL server database, an Active Server Pages based application developed by Morning Star collected and collated information from questions anonymously via 27 laptop computers used by participants. This browser-based questionnaire contained many forms of questions including; yes/no, multiple choice, and fill in the blank. The information was compiled and graphed in real-time and displayed on an overhead projection system. The graphed information was then imported into a document and printed for each attendee to take with them. All preparations for this 2-day event were completed remotely and a small team attended the conference to set up and facilitate all technical issues. This web-based approach can be used in the future for interactive seminars and surveys over the Internet.
