Quicktime Virtual Reality (QTVR) is a technology using a series of camera shots to create a seamless 360 degree view of an environment or object. Panoramic QTVRs are 360 degree images taken from a rotating camera. They are great for displaying the interior of a room or the magnificence of a landscape. Object QTVR is made of images taken from a stationary camera of a rotating object. They are good for displaying products such as telephones, cars, packaging, items that can benefit from being displayed from more than one angle.
